Bachelor party idea in Zurich: Virtual Reality

Organizing a bachelor/bachelorette party isn’t that easy. There are plenty of bars, and plenty of restaurants too. But the evening often ends up like so many before it: a few drinks, something to eat, maybe a game – and the next day you mostly remember the bill.

That’s why our customers look for an idea that really sticks in your memory. This is exactly where Virtual Reality comes in.

Many people have seen VR before, but only a few have tried a real multiplayer experience. At a Virtual Reality center like Fusion Arena in Zurich, Bern, St. Gallen, or now also in Basel, you move together through a large virtual world. You walk around freely, solve tasks, fight zombies, or explore ancient temples – all as a team.

This works brilliantly, especially for a bachelor/bachelorette party. The reason is simple: nobody just sits on the sidelines. Everyone is in the game at the same time. That automatically creates laughter, surprises, and lots of moments you’ll still be talking about later.

A great example is Dominik’s bachelor party. Even today, his friends still talk about how they ran through the VR worlds together, yelled at each other when zombies appeared somewhere – and in the end still survived as a team. That lasting-memory effect is what makes the difference.

For bachelor/bachelorette groups, we usually recommend two game combinations.

For groups of up to 5 people, a double session with The Mystery of the Diamond Skull and Patient Zero works especially well. First, a shared adventure full of puzzles, then zombie action. This creates a classic experience curve: first getting into it, then excitement and adrenaline.

From 6 people onwards, groups often play Tikal and the Night of the Blood Moon and Patient Zero. Teamwork becomes even more important here, because multiple players have to solve different tasks at the same time.

The process is simple: you arrive, get a briefing, and jump straight into the game. After that, there’s plenty of time to continue your evening. Many groups go out for dinner together afterwards or head to a bar.

And yes – a small ritual is part of it too: A shot is on us – currently Berliner Luft.

The big advantage of VR for a bachelor/bachelorette party is that it’s new for almost everyone. Nobody knows exactly what to expect. That’s what creates surprises, spontaneous reactions, and lots of stories you’ll tell again and again later.

So if you’re currently planning a bachelor/bachelorette party in Zurich, Bern, St. Gallen or Basel and you’re looking for something that doesn’t feel the same after the tenth time, it’s worth taking a look at Virtual Reality.

Maybe your bachelor/bachelorette party will be the next one your friends are still talking about years later.
