What budget owners need to know

“What does it really cost in the end?” That’s the first question in every event plan. If you’re responsible for a budget, you don’t want any surprises on the final invoice.

A few clear numbers.

Two models

Groups of up to ten people book a single game. In the afternoon it’s CHF 39 per person, in the evening and on weekends CHF 49. The lounge is available on a best-effort basis—usable, but not guaranteed.

If you want to be on the safe side even with a smaller group, you can add the lounge with your own VIP area. There are dedicated packages for that. That way, an event with eight or nine people also gets a fixed place to retreat to.

From eleven people, it becomes a team event. From CHF 65 per person, billed in increments of five. The reason: more people need more time. This tiering is more honest than a flat surcharge.

Why CHF 65 is cheaper than it looks

The single ticket is cheaper than the team event price. But if you add up what’s included, the picture changes:

A VR game costs CHF 49 individually

The Genzone costs CHF 25 individually

Together CHF 74—and the lounge still wouldn’t even be guaranteed

In the team event from CHF 65, both are included, with the lounge guaranteed. The package price is below the sum of the individual parts. Not a marketing trick, just the logic behind the tiering.

What the team event is about

At the heart of it are team-building games in full-body virtual reality. Titles like Diamond Skull, Tikal or High Voltage only work if the team plays together. Everyone moves freely in the space; nobody sits on the sidelines. That’s exactly where you see how a group comes together under pressure.

We often hear at team events that team members still want to do some shooting in between. That’s what the Genzone in the lounge area is for—zombie shooter or laser tag, it’s a lot of fun.

Plus the other lounge attractions: Atari stations, PlayStation and Nintendo. The most-booked group size is 15 to 20 people—usually with an apéro package and drinks.

Depending on the location—Zurich, Bern, St. Gallen or Basel—40 to 70 people are possible. For larger events, you can rent the entire arena. 200 m² exclusively.

What the apéro costs

For many teams, food is simply part of it. Here, an honest classification helps.

If you’re going out for a big meal before or after anyway, small bites are enough: chips, nuts, a few snacks. With a drink, that comes to around CHF 6 per person.

If it’s meant to be a proper apéro, it quickly comes to CHF 10 to 15 per person, plus drinks. The range is wide—from meat and cheese platters to sweet options to warm items like pizza.

How much you’ll need in the end is hard to guess. From experience, we’re happy to advise on quantities so there’s neither too little nor too much on the table.

Where the budget really tips

A corporate event rarely fails because of the price. It fails because of a lack of clarity.

That’s exactly what the Concierge Service is for. In a consultation by phone or video, everything can be clarified in advance—including special requests: a meeting room for a speech, a behind-the-scenes tour of the tech, or a tailored presentation on virtual reality and AI. IT companies in particular like to book these tours.

Final takeaway

Most corporate events don’t fail because of the budget. They fail because nobody knows exactly what they’re getting beforehand.

If you clarify that early, planning feels more relaxed—and you often realize the good offer is cheaper than it first seems.

Curious?

Have we sparked your curiosity?
